National Stationery Show Best New Product Finalist - Write Your Story Pencils

Kat Mariaca Studio is Finalist in the National Stationery Show's Best New Product Competition

Amherst, NH, May 8, 2017 - Kat Mariaca Studio announces two of its new products - Speak Your Mind Refrigerator Magnets and Write Your Story Pencils - have been named Finalists in the Best New Product competition of the National Stationery Show that opens at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City on May 21, 2017.

Kat Mariaca Studio is a greeting card, art print and gift design studio located in New Hampshire. It was opened by Katherine Mariaca-Sullivan in response to high demand for greeting cards and art prints from her best-selling book "The Complication of Sisters." The studio currently features three unique collections - Postal Notes Greetings, Sage Street Greetings and Let's Pretend (it didn't happen).

On May 8,  2017 the National Stationery Show announced the finalists in its Best New Product Competition. The competition determines the best new products in five separate categories: All Things Paper, Let's Celebrate, Life/Style, Craft it Up/DIY, and Best of Show. From more than 300 entries, Kat Mariaca Studio was named a finalist for both of the new product lines it entered in the competition.

Kat Mariaca Studio entered its "Write Your Story Pencils" in the show's "All Things Paper" category. The pencils are sold in sets of 7 hex-style pencils. The pencils each offer one of 10 messages taken from its greeting card line "Postal Notes Greetings", including its best-selling message, "Carpe Beautiful Diem."

In addition to its new pencil line, Kat Mariaca Studio entered its "Speak Your Mind Refrigerator Magnet" collection in the show's "Life/Style" category. The metal magnets feature a gloss finish, wrapped profile and strong magnetic attraction. There are 23 different designs taken from the studio's "Postal Notes Greetings" and "Sage Street Greetings" collections.

Both the pencil and refrigerator magnet collections will be unveiled to wholesale buyers at the 2017 National Stationery Show, Booth 1863. They will be offered for retail purchase on June 1, 2017.
